Controls when something goes wrong

Reporting and blocking

Report, block and a general complaint are different controls. Choose the one that matches what happened.

Report an encountered item

Use the in-app Report action on the exact text, answer, question, retelling or immediate profile you encountered. Tell Someone verifies that you were authorised to encounter it and attaches only the minimum case material. Reports do not open your whole account for browsing.

Block a participant

Use Block to stop future interaction through the immediate participant route. Blocking is separate from reporting: you may do either or both. Tell Someone does not notify the blocked person or reveal a hidden graph.

What happens next

The affected route is contained where the established rule requires it. A specifically authorised reviewer can assess the bounded case, record a reasoned decision and apply a proportionate action. Status and explanations stay coarse enough to protect reporters, other participants and security details.

Make a complaint

Use the Complaints route if you are affected by content or conduct, a report or block, a moderation decision, privacy handling, Terms enforcement or another Tell Someone service issue. You do not need an account, and a reply email is optional. The receipt gives you a private status capability; keep it safe.

Urgent help

For an immediate danger, contact emergency services. For an urgent Tell Someone safety concern, email safety@playtellsomeone.com without copying private game content unless an authorised route specifically requests it.
