Delete your Tell Someone account

Account deletion

You can start account deletion in the app or through Tell Someone’s authenticated web deletion service without emailing Support.

Open authenticated account deletion

How to start

In the app, open You, choose Delete account and complete the deliberate confirmation. Without the app, use the authenticated web deletion link on this page, enter the email associated with your existing Tell Someone account, verify the one-time code and complete the deliberate confirmation. Authentication protects the account; the web deletion route does not create a new game account.

What acceptance does

Tell Someone disables the account, revokes first-party sessions, stops new game actions and notifications, and queues provider credentials, profile, installations and account-owned data for retry-safe deletion. Affected game content is erased, cancelled or made unavailable according to the point its causal lifecycle reached.

What may remain for a bounded time

Backups, minimum security records, case-scoped safety evidence and records that law requires can remain only for their documented purpose and schedule. A deletion request does not create permission to retain unrelated content.

What deletion cannot undo

Deletion cannot erase another person’s memory or a copy, screenshot or message made outside Tell Someone. It cannot make another participant unlearn a result they lawfully received. Tell Someone still removes identity and content from its own active systems where the deletion rules require it.

Need help?

If you cannot sign in to use either deletion route, contact support@playtellsomeone.com for help. Do not send a sign-in code. For access, correction, restriction, objection or another data right, use privacy@playtellsomeone.com; those requests do not require deleting your account.
